Are glass bottles too high maintenance for twins
Hey moms. There seems to be a new trend in the baby bottle world. Some experts say that glass bottles are a safe option for giving babies formula and pumped breast milk. Have any of you tried these? Are they expensive or hard to clean? Are you worried that they will break? Enlighten us, please.

For me, its too much work. I have heard that the glass bottles are supposed to be better, but only if you warm your formula/breast milk in the bottle. I watched a news story where they were saying that the plastic baby bottles excrete some higher concentration of lead when heated. Even if you heat them on the stove or in a bowl of hot water, or bottle warmer, or however. I use now (and did with my first set of twins) the drop in system. I've said before, and I'll say again, I pay for convience. When I was using breast milk, I would heat it in the storage bag in warm water. Now that I'm formula feeding, I just use warm water from the tap. I clean the nipple and toss the rest. Its what works for me!
Glass bottles worked great for us. They stand up well in the dishwasher and were just the easiest for us. No silly parts to clean and no worries about BPA. Just don't put a cold bottle in hot water - then it'll break.
H, pardon me for being an idiot. But what the heck is BPA? Educate me...please.
